A longer version of our popular 16mm spring, Nitinol pre-trained 1-way memory helical/coil spring contracts and exerts force when heated to 45C. Once cooled to room temperature, the spring requires almost no resistance to stretch it. Recommended maximum expansion when cold: 300mm (excluding hooks).

This variant of the NiTi spring contracts when heated and can be mechanically expanded when cooled with little resistance.
