Pure Gadolinium • Gd Rod / Wire

Extruded gadolinium wire segments up to 1 meter long. Oxide surface.

They are strongly ferromagnetic when cold and less magnetic when above 20C.

The wire is reasonably ductile and you can coil to 3mm coil radius; low elasticity; easy to fracture.
