Because a typical geodesic dome is a hemisphere in shape, larger geodesics result in extremely high buildings, which may not always be desired or allowed.

By tracing a spherical "cap" of a much larger imaginary sphere, we offer all the benefits of traditional domes, but with significantly lower heights — for example — a 16 foot clearance for this 60 foot diameter structure.

Such reduced height further improves wind resistance and makes assembly safer and faster. That, is what we call practical geodesics, on a grand scale.

Each geodesic dome takes 40 days to manufacture and 4-6 weeks to ship by ocean to your destination. Please plan on 3-4 months to be safe. Sales terms Delivered to your Door for Lower 48 continental US States, surcharge for Alaska & Hawaii, and DDU (delivered, duty unpaid) for everyone else.

Domestic USA Customers, shipping is included in the price of the dome.

Purchasing process:

40% Deposit to start production of parts. Use coupon code DEPOSIT at checkout to pay the initial deposit. We will confirm all details and optionally make changes per your special requirements. If that requires significant engineering work (over 2 hours), we will request an additional fee.

60% Balance payment due at shipment. Once your CNC Dome has all its parts prepared (Hubs & Bolts packages, Stainless Tubes shipment, optional Glass Panels shipment) we email pictures of the completed order ready to be shipped to the freight forwarder. You will arrange balance payment. We will arrange the shipment and provide you with the shipping documents.

The price includes:

Cost of freight from the CNC shop and steel mill to your door. In some countries, this may not be possible and you may be required to collect the goods at your port.
Sales tax for lower 48 states continental USA customers. The price you see is the total you pay.

You may have to pay separately: import Tax, VAT, GST, exam fee, or any other form of taxes or tariffs that your country's customs office requests you to pay to clear customs.

Customization options:

The dome is available as bare skeleton, or with the necessary brackets included to mount panels.

Panels are available in Laminated Glass, Polycarbonate, and Aluminum Laminate Board.
