Nitinol pre-trained 2-way memory helical/coil spring contracts and exerts force when heated to 55C. Once cooled to room temperature, the spring extends by itself exerting force in the opposite direction. Cold length: 50mm (without hooks). This spring pulls with a force of up to 300 grams, but in order to prevent damage to the spring's structure, the recommended maximum load should not exceed 170 grams.
